Winter Solstice (Dong Zhi) usually falls on December 21 or 22 in Malaysia. It is the longest night of the year. Traditionally, Chinese families will have some sweet dumplings (Tang Yuan). Normally, the sweet dumplings are made with glutinous rice flour and filled with brown sugar, sesame, peanut and etc.
